CEO, CHILD LEGACY INTERNATIONAL AND MOYO GOODS
"Working to break the cycle of poverty throughout rural Africa."
Jeff Rogers co-founded Child Legacy International (CLI) in 1987 with a mission to bring sustainable solutions to the most disadvantaged rural communities in Africa. His 30+ years of expertise span healthcare, clean water access, vocational training, orphan care, and agricultural development, primarily in Zimbabwe and Malawi. Jeff's innovative contributions include state-of-the-art renewable energy systems adopted as a model for rural development by both the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the African Union (AU).
Social Enterprise
In 2022, Jeff co-founded Moyo Goods, PBC to support the sustainability of Child Legacy in rural Malawi by generating revenue to help cover operating costs. This initiative reduces the dependency on traditional fundraising and empowers local communities through innovative agricultural development.
