CO-FOUNDER & CEO, YETI

Roy J. Seiders is a Texas-based entrepreneur who co-founded YETI in 2006 with his brother Ryan. As CEO of YETI, Roy directed the company’s management with a focus on product innovation and brand development, shepherding its rapid growth into an iconic brand known for quality and durability across a wide range of outdoor products. Today, YETI is a publicly traded company on the NYSE, with roughly $2 billion in annual sales.

In addition to his continued involvement with YETI as Chairman, Roy is a partner at YETI Capital, a venture capital firm that has funded the growth of several successful start-ups across the consumer and tech industries, including Tecovas, Epic Western, PAKA, and Guidesly. 

Roy and his wife Kathi live in Austin with their five children. True to their Texas roots, they enjoy spending time together outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking. The Seiders are engaged in several philanthropic endeavors locally and regionally—most notably causes related to Texas parks, land, and wildlife conservation and their shared alma mater Texas Tech.
